God calls us not to isolated faith but to life together as the body of Christ (1 Cor. 12:27). From the start, believers were joined in committed community—devoted to teaching, prayer, care, and mission (Acts 2:42–47). Church membership reflects this biblical vision: a joyful commitment to grow together, serve one another, and live out the gospel in unity. If you're ready to take that step, join us for our Membership Series, offered three times a year, to begin the process.

Truth & Culture

This class will equip you with a firm foundation in the core truths we believe, teach, and uphold at North Pines. From historic creeds to gospel doctrine, we’ll see how convictions rooted in Scripture and affirmed through church history shape our teaching, worship, and life together. We’ll also explore how these beliefs guide us in today’s cultural moment, clarify key doctrines, and explain how our theology informs how we lead, serve, and live as the body of Christ.

Spirit & Mission

This class is designed to help you grasp what it means to be part of a Spirit-filled, missional church. At North Pines, we believe the book of Acts is not just a record of the early church, it’s a blueprint for how God still empowers His people today. This class will explore how Jesus commissions His followers, how the Spirit fills and sends them, and how spiritual gifts equip the church for life, mission, and service.

The Local Church

This class is designed to give you a deeper understanding of how the local church is designed to function biblically—from its Spirit-empowered beginning in Acts to its relational, doctrinal, and leadership structures outlined in the epistles. We’ll examine the priorities of the early church, the example of Ephesus, and the biblical roles of elders, deacons, and members—showing how God intends the church to be both a spiritual family and a faithful witness in the world.
