What to Expect

Close out your summer with a trip that’s meaningful, real, and full of moments that matter. NP YTH is heading to the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum to explore what faith looks like for us today. Through the story of Noah, we’ll see how his trust in God connects to our own trust and obedience in Jesus today. This 3-day trip for students in 6th–12th grade includes time to explore, hang with friends, and reflect on what it looks like for us to daily put our faith in Jesus. With teaching, worship, and space to grow, it’s a relaxed and faith-focused way to head into the school year grounded in Jesus.

The registration fee includes tickets to The Ark Encounter and Creation Museum, meals throughout the trip, exclusive NP Ark merchandise, and travel/lodging expenses. This package is designed to provide a comprehensive and enjoyable experience for all attendees.

We want everyone to have the opportunity to participate. If the cost of attendance presents a challenge, please contact Austin Graham for information about sponsorships or alternative options.

Tuesday, July 29 – Travel + Kickoff Night

  • 9:00 AM – Depart from North Pines
  • 2:00–3:00 PM – Stop at Big Bone Lick State Historic Site
  • 4:00–5:00 PM – Arrive at Airbnbs
  • 6:00 PM – Group dinner at the girls’ Airbnb
  • 7:00 PM – Teaching + Worship
  • 9:00 PM – Games and hangout at each house
  • 11:00 PM – Lights out

Wednesday, July 30 – Creation Museum Day

  • 7:30 AM – Breakfast at Individual Houses
  • 8:30 AM – Depart for Creation Museum
  • 9:00 AM–12:30 PM – Explore the Creation Museum
  • 12:30–1:30 PM – Lunch
  • 1:30–3:30 PM – Games at Piddle Park
  • 3:30-5:00 PM - Free Time at Home
  • 5:00-6:00 PM – Dinner
  • 6:30-8:00 PM – Teaching/Prayer Time
  • Evening – Free time / hangout at Airbnbs
  • 11:00 PM – Lights out

Thursday, July 31 – Ark Encounter Day

  • 7:30 AM – Breakfast at Individual Houses
  • 8:30 AM – Depart for Ark Encounter
  • 9:00 AM–12:30 PM – Explore the Ark Encounter
  • 12:30–1:30 PM – Lunch
  • 1:30–3:30 PM – Games at Piddle Park

Friday, August 1 – Return Trip

  • 8:30 AM – Morning Devotional Time
  • 10:00 AM – Depart for home
  • 4:00 PM – Arrive back at North Pines

Things to Consider Bringing

What You Should Pack:

  • Bible
  • Notebook/Pens
  • Sunscreen
  • Water Bottle (NOT GLASS)
  • Snacks
  • Money for road meals
  • Sleeping bag or other bedding, don’t forget your pillow! (Twin beds)
  • Toiletries (soap, shampoo, toothpaste, etc.)
  • Athletic clothing for recreation and free time
  • Tennis Shoes
  • Laundry Bag for messy clothes
  • Clothing to get dirty/messy in during recreation and free time

What You Should Not Pack:

  • Glass Water Bottle
  • Tobacco products/alcohol/drugs*
  • Weapons*
  • Fireworks*
  • Lighters/Matches*

  • Water balloons/Water guns

Waiver Information

For the The Ark: Built on Faith, a waiver must be completed and submitted upon your arrival to drop off. Kindly ensure that you fill out the waiver in advance. Below is the link to the required waiver.
